The company offers the opportunity to those who wish to express interest in the position of “SAP Support Officer”, for its premises in Thessaloniki. The position will be reported to the SAP Business Coordinator of the Finance department.
Responsibilities:
- Support the business and SAP function with daily requests, monthly closing, and SAP-related projects through a Ticketing system.
- Provide SAP access and assign roles to new users/internal role changes/transfers.
- Assign and maintain roles to SAP users and consultants.
- Generate reports from SAP Users access and Roles for SOX Audits.
- Perform a regular review of active SAP users.
- Provide ad-hoc training and user support as required.
- First level user support for general system usage.
- First level functional support, especially on the MM and PM modules.
- Evaluate or design the required testing in SAP for complex requests.
- Evaluate the outcome of complex functional integrated test requests.
- Move transport requests from Quality to the SAP productive system.
- Maintain procurement release strategies through Flexible Workflow.
- Assist in the functional analysis of complex business process requirements and propose appropriate system solutions.
- Be part of the Segregation of Duties team that corrects SAP roles in SAP.
- Act as liaison with the Company’s and Group IT for SAP-related issues and coordinate other regions' regression testing if necessary.
- Ability to work self-directed and independently.
- Identify gaps, issues, and work-around solutions.
- Document functional designs, test cases, and results.
- Proactively identify and propose business processes and/or system enhancements.
Skills & Qualifications:
- University Degree preferably in IT, Engineering, or Finance & Business-related areas.
- Excellent knowledge of the English language.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office - Highly proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel.
- SAP certification will be considered a plus.
- At least 3 years of experience supporting users in several SAP Modules (FI, CO, MM, PM, SD).
- User administration and authorizations experience in S4Hana system.
- Experience in Requirements Analysis.
- SAP Authorization and knowledge of SOD tools such as SAP GRC or ERP Maestro software.
- Basic ABAP knowledge.
- Results-oriented with the ability to complete assignments in a timely manner.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities, proactive.
- Aptitude to work with minimal supervision but also be a team player.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and solve problems.
- Organization, presentation, and communication skills.
- Effective communication and follow-up skills with the ability to communicate at all levels of the business.
- Understanding of Finance-related and business processes.
- Knowledge of SAP internal audits and SOX processes.
