You will directly report to IT Manager based in the Italian HQ and to the Country Manager, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.

As an integral part of our team, your primary focus will be providing advanced IT support to end users while leading the implementation and management of IT Projects. You will ensure seamless IT operations, optimize infrastructure, and support the deployment of innovative technological solutions aligned with company goals.

In this role, your key activities are:

End-User support:

• provide onsite and remote support for hardware, software and network issues;
• set up, configure, and troubleshoot MS Windows operating systems, laptops and desktop hardware;
• train users on proper usage of IT system and software.

IT infrastructure Management: 

• troubleshoot and resolve network issues (LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, DNS, DHCP, VPN, LDAP);
• oversee IT infrastructure upgrades, such as network migration to SDWAN and cloud migrations;
• cross functional IT support to the retail structure;
• perform server and network administration tasks to ensure optimal performance.

External Relations & Vendor Management:

• communicate with local vendors, partners and external stakeholders for all IT-related projects;
• explore and propose modern solutions and emerging technologies for company-wide implementation;
• negotiate and manage existing external contracts, ensuring optimal terms and conditions.

Procurement and Budget Management:

• manage IT budget planning and spending;
• oversee IT purchasing and vendor relationships;
• ensure the procurement and maintenance of IT equipment.

Compliance and Optimization:

• ensure fiscal compliance for all retail operations, aligning with local laws and regulations;
• oversee and ensure best IT practice across all company’s departments.

 

The profile:

• Minimum 4 years of experience in IT support, Project management and IT infrastructure administration.
• Proficiency in MS Windows 10/11, Windows Server (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP), workstations and laptops.
• Hands-on experience with cloud solutions like Office 365, window servers and tools.
• Strong understanding of networking principles (LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, VPN) and networking basics (TCP/IP understanding, patch cable management, ping/traceroute).
• Experience with ERP systems, like Cegid, is considered a plus.
• Fluency in both written and verbal English.
• Strong communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Analytical mindset with a focus on compliance and operational excellence.
