The company offers the opportunity to those who wish to express interest in the position of “IT/OT Specialist”, for its premises in Halkidiki. The position will be reported to the IT Manager of the IT Department at Olympias.
Main Responsibilities:
- Contribute to implementing and maintaining IT/OT systems, LAN/WAN infrastructure, and remote access to support business operations.
- Support IT/OT security, data protection, risk management, and disaster recovery tasks.
- Assist in evaluating and implementing core IT/OT systems and business solutions to meet organizational goals.
- Help define IT/OT system requirements and departmental workflows.
- Assist in operating, administering, monitoring, and maintaining IT systems and communication networks for HG.
- Ensure compliance with IT/OT policies and support departments with their IT/OT needs.
- Participate in IT/OT project management and system planning, deployment, configuration, and commissioning.
- Support network infrastructure (copper, fiber, wireless) and network systems hardware/software (switches, routers, firewalls).
- Support communication systems (base stations, radio consoles, specialized hardware/software).
- Assist in planning, deploying, configuring, and supporting underground communication and automation systems (Wi-Fi mesh, TETRA, surveillance, alarms).
- Provide Tier 2 support for IT/OT and UG communication systems hardware and software.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS, Business with Technology Management, or a related field.
- Master’s degree and/or Project Management certification is desirable but not mandatory.
- Equivalent combinations of extensive experience and training that provide the required knowledge and skills may be considered.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in IT and business environments, including deployment of computer, network, and telecommunications systems and complex technology projects.
- At least 2 years of experience in OT environments with similar responsibilities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritize effectively.
- Advanced IT knowledge paired with a solid understanding of business concepts, principles, and operations.
- Ability to comprehend complex information and translate it into actionable requirements.
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills, with the capability to simplify complex systems for diverse audiences.
- Proven ability to work under tight deadlines and within constraints.
