PHP Software Developer (m/f/x) 

Fieldcode is a Field Service Management (FSM) software created from 20 years of global field service expertise, providing Zero-Touch automation and efficient software solutions.  

We are looking for a PHP Software Developer with strong experience in PHP development and a passion for creating clean, efficient, and scalable code while working on internal and customer projects with cross-functional teams to meet client needs and business goals.

Responsibilities:

•    Develop and maintain web applications using PHP and the Typo3 framework, covering both backend and frontend development by adhering to the MVC design pattern and clean code principles.
•    Manage and interact with SQL and NoSQL databases to ensure efficient data storage and retrieval.
•    Understand and utilize index, cache, and messaging systems to enhance application performance and scalability.
•    Conduct testing and participate in continuous integration processes.
•    Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
•    Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.

Technical Requirements:

•    At least 5 years of experience in professional software development using PHP and the Typo3 framework.
•    Experience with version control systems, particularly Git.
•    Knowledge of continuous integration and unit testing practices.
•    Solid knowledge of load testing and performance monitoring.
•    Experience with automated testing procedures (unit tests, integration tests, end-to-end tests).
•    Proficiency in front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript) for at least 5 years.
•    Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
•    Experience with Azure DevOps and AWS infrastructure is a plus.

Qualifications:

•    Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or comparable qualification.
•    Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
•    Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
•    Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
•    Strong organizational and time-management skills.
