GNT Information Systems S.A, is a long established Greek software company, specializing in the development of complex IT projects, mainly in the telecom sector.

We are seeking for a candidate to cover the following opening:

Junior Project Manager.

Responsibilities include:

• Collecting and analyzing requirements, and participating in the solution design.
• Managing projects and programs and monitoring their progress
• Identifying issues in existing systems and forming hypotheses and solutions
• Performing research and data collection to understand the organization business processes
• Identifying risks on a timely manner and ensure proper escalation, while proposing mitigation actions
• Evaluating issues significance and impact, and ensure their resolution

Required Qualifications:

• University Degree in Computer Science (mandatory)
• Project Management skills.
• Working experience in programming (OOP) is highly desirable if not mandatory, since the candidate must collaborate with programming teams, and assess their effort estimations.
• Good knowledge of SQL is necessary for investigating various issues by directly querying existing data sources (usually RDBMS).
• Fluency in Greek and English
• Ability to work as part of a team

These would be a plus:

• Understanding of the concepts and systems commonly found in telecom organizations.
• Familiarity with Jira
• Ability to quickly identify and resolve issues in demanding operational environments.
