Our company, a dynamic company in importing and distributing branded clothing, with multiple retail locations across Greece, is seeking an experienced IT Support Specialist to manage our technology infrastructure and provide hands-on technical support.
Position Overview
The IT Support Specialist will be responsible for maintaining the company's technical infrastructure, providing daily hands-on support to users, and ensuring smooth operation of all systems across our network of stores and offices.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on technical support for workstations, printers, POS systems, and network devices. Perform system health checks and proactive maintenance of servers and network infrastructure
- Install, configure, and maintain Windows workstations, laptops, and peripheral devices, perform updates, and maintain antivirus protection
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights
- Configure and troubleshoot network connectivity issues (LAN/WAN/VPN)
- Follow end-user requests
- Provide first-level support for Softone ERP users and coordinate with external partners for advanced issues
- Handle basic SQL Server operations and database maintenance tasks
- Maintain and troubleshoot Microsoft 365 services and applications
- Manage inventory of IT equipment and supplies
- Document technical procedures and maintain IT knowledge base
- Provide remote support to retail locations when needed
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Proven hands-on experience with:
- Windows desktop and server administration
- Network troubleshooting and TCP/IP protocols
- Hardware diagnostics and repair
- Printer setup and maintenance
- VPN configuration and remote access solutions
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 platform and services
- Solid understanding of IT security best practices
- Experience with Softone ERP or similar systems and business operations.
Knowledge of Softone ERP will be considered as a plus - English language skills
Desired Qualifications
- Basic SQL Server knowledge
- Microsoft certifications
- Retail IT support experience
- Experience with POS systems
- Knowledge of backup solutions and disaster recovery
