IT Support Specialist

 

Our company, a dynamic company in importing and distributing branded clothing, with multiple retail locations across Greece, is seeking an experienced IT Support Specialist to manage our technology infrastructure and provide hands-on technical support.

 

Position Overview

 

The IT Support Specialist will be responsible for maintaining the company's technical infrastructure, providing daily hands-on support to users, and ensuring smooth operation of all systems across our network of stores and offices.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Provide hands-on technical support for workstations, printers, POS systems, and network devices. Perform system health checks and proactive maintenance of servers and network infrastructure
  • Install, configure, and maintain Windows workstations, laptops, and peripheral devices, perform updates, and maintain antivirus protection
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights
  • Configure and troubleshoot network connectivity issues (LAN/WAN/VPN)
  • Follow end-user requests
  • Provide first-level support for Softone ERP users and coordinate with external partners for advanced issues
  • Handle basic SQL Server operations and database maintenance tasks
  • Maintain and troubleshoot Microsoft 365 services and applications
  • Manage inventory of IT equipment and supplies
  • Document technical procedures and maintain IT knowledge base
  • Provide remote support to retail locations when needed

 

Required Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • Proven hands-on experience with:
    • Windows desktop and server administration
    • Network troubleshooting and TCP/IP protocols
    • Hardware diagnostics and repair
    • Printer setup and maintenance
    • VPN configuration and remote access solutions
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 platform and services
  • Solid understanding of IT security best practices
  • Experience with Softone ERP or similar systems and business operations.
    Knowledge of Softone ERP will be considered as a plus
  • English language skills

 

Desired Qualifications

 

  • Basic SQL Server knowledge
  • Microsoft certifications
  • Retail IT support experience
  • Experience with POS systems
  • Knowledge of backup solutions and disaster recovery
