Position Overview
Α Telecommunication Presales Engineer supports the sales team by providing technical support, preparing proposals, and assisting in the design of telecommunication solutions tailored to client needs. This role involves working closely with customers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure technical feasibility and alignment with business goals.
Key Responsibilities
1. Technical Support & Solution Design
- Assist in designing telecommunication solutions (e.g., L1/L2/L3 network connectivity, cloud communication, fiber optics, satellite, wireless technologies).
- Conduct technical feasibility assessments and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Support senior engineers in preparing network architecture diagrams and documentation.
2. Presales Activities
- Assist in preparing and delivering product demonstrations & technical presentations.
- Respond to technical queries on product capabilities.
- Liaise with vendors and technology partners to ensure seamless integration of solutions.
3. Proposal & Documentation
- Support drafting of technical proposals, including cost estimates and solution configurations.
- Preparation of Bid submittals, RFP responses and technical presentations.
4. Customer Engagement & Support
- Participate in client meetings to collect requirements and present matching solutions.
- Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements and develop proposals.
- Work with internal teams (engineering, product management, etc.) to address customer concerns.
- Support post-sales transition and ensure smooth implementation of solutions.
5. Qualifications & Skills
- Education:
Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
Relevant certifications (e.g., Cisco CCNA, AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are a plus.
- Technical Skills:
Basic knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, MPLS, VPN, etc.).
Familiarity with cloud-based communication solutions and enterprise networking
Understanding of wireless communication and fiber optics is advantageous.
- Soft Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to work in a team and interact with clients professionally.
