ICAP Executive Search on behalf of its client, an International Group of Companies, is looking for a Data Analyst to join the team and enable business decisions by using, interpreting and reporting data to provide valuable insights and recommendations through BI tools and solutions.

Data Analyst (/DA/ESS/GR)

Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end BI projects, from gathering requirements to rollout
• Develop and optimize ETL pipelines (Python, SQL, Oracle) to ensure smooth data integration
• Use a range of BI and data analysis tools such as Power BI and Databricks, and maintain BI solutions to provide analysis and reports
• Collaborate closely with Finance, Treasury and Investments teams to understand business requirements and develop reports and dashboards
• Engage with cross-functional stakeholders to understand reporting needs and enhance data quality and reporting accuracy
• Provide technical training and knowledge-sharing to the team on database usage and data integration best practices

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum 3 years of working experience in a BI or data analytics role
• Strong hands-on experience with BI tools
• Proficiency in Python for data processing and analytics
• Solid understanding of Data Warehousing, Data Lakes, ETL pipelines
• Experience working with traditional Relational Database Management Systems (SQL Server, Oracle)
• Expertise in designing and implementing RESTful APIs and working with web protocols (HTTP, SOAP, etc.)
• Proficiency in English language (verbal and written)
• Ability to travel
• Hands-on experience with Azure Integration Services (Logic Apps, Service Bus, API Management, Azure Functions)
• Understanding of Azure architecture and PaaS offerings
• Familiarity with data formats like JSON, XML, and CSV
• Knowledge of BQNT and Power Platform tools (e.g., Power Automate)
• Experience in a financial, consulting, or banking institution
• Interpersonal savvy with excellent communication skills both in Greek and English
• Analytical mindset to manage complexity
• Strong debugging, problem-solving, and performance tuning skills
