Mellon Technologies seeks to hire a Mid/Senior Software Engineer
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our team. If you are passionate about Java development and have expertise in building robust and scalable systems, we would love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development, design, and implementation of software solutions using Java and related technologies
- Work with modern frameworks and libraries such as Spring, Hibernate, and others to build efficient, secure, and scalable applications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and deliver high-quality software solutions that meet both business and technical requirements
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers, promoting best practices and continuous learning
- Identify opportunities to improve and optimize software architecture and code quality
- Ensure the successful integration of new technologies and frameworks into the company’s ecosystem
- Document code and processes, ensuring that knowledge is shared across teams
- Work closely with stakeholders, both internal and external, to ensure software aligns with business needs
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on Java, Object-Oriented Programming, and related technologies
- Proficiency in Git or other version control systems
- Expertise in the Spring Framework (including Spring Boot, Spring Security, and Spring Data) and JPA/Hibernate
- Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, JSON, XML, and SOAP, along with related web technologies
- Hands-on experience with relational databases and SQL
- Familiarity with build tools like CI/CD pipelines, and Agile methodologies
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to tackle complex technical challenges and deliver high-quality code on time
Desirable Skills & Experience:
- Basic knowledge of .NET
- Familiarity with front-end technologies as JavaScript, HTML, CSS
- Understanding of cloud platforms and microservices architecture
- Bonus points for experience with Cloud technologies, Kubernetes, and Docker
- Experience with Contact Center Integration (CTI) systems like Genesys or Aspect is a plus (but not required)
