QCELL seeks to hire a fulltime Senior Software Engineer

We are with https://qcell.tech/ , a VC-backed, spin-off of the Technical University of Crete, based in Chania, Crete, Greece. We are leaders in Hyperspectral Medical Imaging technologies, cameras and systems and are looking to hire a full-time Senior Software Engineer to join our dynamic R&D team.

Responsibilities

1. You should be able to produce and implement complex software solutions, independently
2. You will be working with the senior management in designing, configuring and testing innovative medical imaging systems
3. You will take the lead on technical and operational projects
4. You will joint and expand our industrial and academic network

Requirements

1. BSc/MSc/PhD degree, in CS, ECE, and related fields
2. Deep knowledge and proven 4 years of experience in:
   1. Design, development and maintenance of desktop software applications with C++ and Qt (Widgets).
   2. GPU programming
   3. Design, development and maintenance of software on microcontrollers (firmware).
   4. Software design, algorithms, data structures, and object-oriented programming.
   5. OpenCL and OpenGL for graphics and data processing acceleration.
   6. Version control systems (Git).

1. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with emphasis on drafting (in English) scientific publications, grant applications and technical reports

1. Work with physical presence in QCELL’s premises located in Chania, Crete, Greece
