As we continue to grow, we are looking for a highly motivated professional, an IT Support Specialist, to join and strengthen our team of dedicated associates.

A. Objective of role: To provide first-level technical support and ensure the smooth operation of the company's IT infrastructure, while continuously improving IT systems, operations, processes, applications, and equipment. This contributes to a secure, effective, and efficient IT environment that supports the organization’s business needs and goals. The ideal candidate will also possess basic web application development skills to support internal tools and systems when needed.

B. Job Responsibilities:

Primary – IT Support:

• Setting up new equipment for users as needed (workstations, laptops, tablets, mobile phones)
• Manage user accounts in Active Directory, Office 365 and other cloud services
• Serve as the first point of contact for users seeking technical assistance (office or remote)
• Provide basic training and assist users in IT systems usage
• Contact suppliers/vendors for new equipment, repairs and maintenance
• Perform routine PC maintenance and updates for performance and security efficiency
• Record events and problems and their resolution in logs
• Monitor back ups
• Assist with documentation and training material
• Assist monitoring Internet service, firewalls, network (LAN, WLAN) and telephone systems
• Assist with software and hardware upgrades in IT infrastructure
• Identify and suggest possible improvements to procedures
• Initiate process improvements to better answer user demands

Secondary – Web Development:

• Manage corporate website
• Develop and maintain internal web applications using PHP, MariaDB, and Node.js
• Collaborate with other teams to implement new features and improve performance
• Ensure the security and responsiveness of developed applications

C. Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
• Relevant Master’s Degree will be considered a plus
• Excellent command of English, both written and spoken
• At least two years of proven working experience in a similar position
• Hands-on experience with computer networks, network administration and network installation, IT systems
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Android and IOS
• Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 (SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive etc.)
• Excellent organizational, communication and troubleshooting skills
• Basic knowledge of PHP, MariaDB, and Node.js
