Position Summary:
We are looking for an IT Support Specialist to become an integral part of our dedicated and energetic IT team.
He/She will be a key member of our enthusiastic IT team. The IT Support Specialist will be responsible for providing technical support expertise in IT operations, troubleshooting, and system administration. This role includes resolving technical issues, managing IT infrastructure and ensuring compliance with security and operational standards.
Your Role:
- Provide technical support and guidance to end-users, resolving hardware and software issues efficiently
- Install, configure and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment
- Provide IT support for systems and network infrastructure, ensuring smooth operation and timely issue resolution
- Evaluate technical problems, propose solutions and maintain records of technical solutions provided
- Contribute to the improvement of IT support operations providing technical insights and evaluating new technologies to enhance efficiency and reliability
- Participate in various IT projects leveraging technical expertise to improve processes, implement new solutions and enhance overall IT operations
- Ensure compliance with company policies and security standards
Your profile:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology or related field
- At least 3 years prior experience in IT support or related role
- Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory, DHCP, Office 365 and cloud platforms
- Basic knowledge in virtualization technologies (VMware) and network concepts (TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, firewalls, switches)
- Positive attitude and focus on collaboration
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Solid organizational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects
- Experience in alarm/video monitoring center would be considered a plus
- Proficient in English
