Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Developer (Mid to Senior Level) to join our development team and become a Mendix developer, if not experienced with Mendix yet. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable Mendix applications for enterprise clients. Unless you already experienced Mendix, the Mendix platform powered by Siemens and trusted by numerous clients worldwide across multiple sectors, will be the catalyst to elevate your skills in Enterprise applications development
The ideal candidate has a solid background in application development, and being actively involved in projects with direct customer interaction and requirements analysis.
As a senior team member, you may also be entrusted with coaching junior developers or assuming a leadership role within the development and operations team as we expand our footprint.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy Mendix applications based on customer needs and business requirements.
- Engage with clients to understand and analyze business problems and translate them into technical solutions.
- Work with cross-functional teams including business analysts, architects, and project managers to ensure quality and performance.
- Ensure applications follow best practices in terms of architecture, integration, and user experience.
- Participate in code reviews, testing processes, and continuous delivery practices.
- Contribute to mentoring junior developers and refining our internal delivery standards.
- Play a key role in planning, estimation, and progress reporting within agile teams.
Qualifications
- At least 3–5 years of experience in software or web application development (Java, C#, .NET, JavaScript, Kubernetes, DevOps, etc.).
- Experience with the Mendix low-code platform and certification is a strong plus.
- Proven participation in projects involving client-facing activities such as business analysis, requirement gathering, or solution design. Team management experience will be considered as a strong plus.
- Solid understanding of APIs, web services, data modeling, and application lifecycle management.
- Strong communication and analytical thinking skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Experience in working with enterprise environments or public sector projects is a plus.
- Proficiency in English; Greek language skills are preferred.
