About your future role
Before you start working in our Greece Platforms department, you will go through well-structured education that will prepare you for your new role. This role provides you with the opportunity to work in a hybrid model, combining work from home and from the office. Your local team will be based in Greece, and you will be part of a team of Application Developers that counts more than 30 members.
Your key responsibilities in this role will be
- Being the SME (Subject Matter Expert) of the applications and continually support the evolvement of the applications to meet changing business needs
- Managing/supporting vendor
- In co-operation with internal stakeholders drive the execution, monitoring and control of applications technical updates to successful on-time, on-budget, and high-quality completion while identifying and remediating risks and issues
- Liaising with other internal stakeholders where alignments and dependencies arise
- Working on moderately complex projects providing technical coaching to business functions and other stakeholder
- Creating & maintaining user manual and technical documents
- Ability to participate in standby/on-call support rotation to support production environment

Qualifications needed to be successful in this role
- Bachelor’s Degree/Certifications at Engineering & Technology and/or Certifications or equivalent working experience.
- 3+ years of previous IT development experience and/or acting as application or product owner
- Excellent command of English language
- Ability to participate in standby/on-call support rotation to support production environment
Additional skills and experience that would make you stand out
- Experience in banking related sector (core banking host systems, issuing & acquiring, etc.) will be considered as a plus
- Experience of working with outsourced 3rd party suppliers will be considered as a plus
- Very good understanding of internal business processes and functions
- Ability to work independently on assigned tasks
- Proven ability to consult with other users on complex system specifications
