The job role will handle the following tasks/areas:

• Freight forwarding operations.
• Handling imports from France to Greece

Key responsibilities:

As an assistant freight Line Manager, you’ll need to:

• Sending offers, arrival notices, scheduling of deliveries and receipts.
• Handling & monitoring imports and related documents (including invoicing).
• Communication with clients, agents & carriers to ensure smooth, timely and efficient handling of shipments.
• Accept / assign loading orders to partners and monitor their progress.
• Proactive and Inspirational leadership that is keen to develop him/herself and others in line with the FDL group culture. You will also share knowledge and best practices with the team and the rest of the organization.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• 0-2 years in a Freight Forwarding company
• Dynamic personality with strong organizational skills.
• Excellent verbal & written communication skills in English.
• Additional language (especially French) will be appreciated accordingly.
• Ability to multi-task and high level of comfort working in fast paced environment.
• Computer literacy in standard software applications (MS Office, ERP etc)
