Retail Marketing Manager / Sports
Brief Description
As a Retail Marketing Manager, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the presence and growth of the Group’s Sports Brands division. The role is an excellent opportunity for a mid-level professional to engage with top-notch global sports brands and to become a member of a passionate team.
Core Responsibilities
- Manage and execute retail marketing plans and e-shop marketing activities for the sports brand division. More specifically:
- Execute retail marketing plans and initiatives to increase brand visibility, drive footfall and safeguard correct brand image in retail stores and e-shops.
- Collaborate closely with the brand marketing teams to align retail marketing activities with broader seasonal brand campaigns and initiatives in both online and brick-and-mortar stores.
- Implement marketing visual merchandising strategies and ensure that retail stores consistently showcase proper brand image and product campaigns, as needed.
- Identify opportunities for growth (online offline) and provide recommendations for retail marketing strategies.
- Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including retail store managers, brand marketing teams, procurement team and external vendors, to ensure seamless execution of marketing activities.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in retail marketing, providing recommendations for continuous improvement and innovation within the organization.
- Obtain and report budget figures for retail marketing campaigns.
- Create engaging and informative newsletters that align with the brand voice showcasing new product releases, promotions, and other relevant updates to the consumer base.
- Engage with the brand e-Shop team for on-time digital campaign executions.
- Oversee the overall look & feel of our e-shops from a marketing perspective, ensuring that all proper marketing materials are in place. Provide suggestions & corrective actions for a seamless customer online journey, from a marketing standpoint.
- Make sure that the Brand is represented as per Global standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree / Master’s degree (preferred) in marketing, business or a related field.
- At least 4-5 years of experience in the retail industry in a marketing function is required.
- Understanding of retail operations, visual merchandising, and customer experience principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Savvy in Microsoft Office tools.
- Team oriented.
