Junior Marketing Specialist
Position Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Junior Marketing Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role focuses on Marketing Operations and Marketing Communications at the hotel level, ensuring that all platforms and channels are consistently updated and aligned with the hotel’s brand and guest experience goals. The ideal candidate will also create engaging social media content, respond to guest reviews, and collaborate with hotel teams to implement effective marketing initiatives. This position reports directly to the Commercial Manager and collaborates on a regular basis with the Marketing department.
Key Responsibilities:
Marketing Operations & Communications:
- Collaborate with hotel operations to gather updates for services, facilities, and events.
- Update and maintain content on Website, Booking Engine, Mobile App, Brochures , OTA and metasearch:
o Information related to the hotel’s operations (e.g., restaurant operating hours).
o TV messages and in-house communication systems.
o Banners, and promotional messages within the hotel.
o Upload new photos and videos when applicable.
o Upload publicities and awards.
o Update menus and QR codes.
o Update descriptions.
- Monitor all in-house communication tools to ensure information is accurate, clear, and aligned with branding.
- Check for errors or inconsistencies in updates across all platforms.
Guest Review Management:
- Monitor and respond to guest reviews on platforms such as Google, TripAdvisor, OTA channels, and internal tools:
o Collaborate with hotel operations to investigate incidents and understand guest experiences.
o Draft professional, personalized, and brand-aligned responses to reviews and complaints.
- Monitor review statistics using review tools to identify trends and share insights with Commercial Department.
- Create reports on guest reviews to support team discussions and service improvements.
Social Media Content Creation:
- Develop and execute a content calendar for social media platforms, aligned with hotel promotions and events.
- Capture live photos and videos of events and activities within the hotel to share engaging, on-brand content.
- Create live content showcasing daily activities within the hotels.
- Edit and enhance photos and videos for social media posts, maintaining a consistent visual identity.
- Monitor social media channels, engage with followers, and respond to comments and messages in a timely manner.
Event & Photoshootings Marketing Support:
- Accompany photo and video shoots by tour operators at the hotels.
- Provide marketing and operational support during in-house events, ensuring smooth execution and promotion.
- Cover events photographically or through video to create high-quality content for promotional use.
- Prepare detailed event reports, including participant data, flow evaluations, and recommendations for improvement.
- Implement in-house communication actions such as posters, push notifications, and event-related TV messages.
Necessary Qualifications:
- Fluent in English
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communication, Hospitality Management or a related field.
- Experience in hospitality marketing or a similar role is a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational, attention to detail and multitasking abilities.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Proficiency in digital tools for website and app content management.
- Basic knowledge of image editing and content creation skills.
