Sales & Marketing Agent

Location of employment: Hersonissos, Crete, Greece

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in developing & implementing of Commercial packages & offers
• Assist in developing, implementing & monitoring the online and offline advertising campaigns
• Management and update of the hotel's content online & offline (hotel's website, OTAs, Tour Operators etc)
• Responsible for Social Media & Mobile app content
• Coordinate and manage photo and video shoots for marketing purposes
• Responsible for the response to customer inquiries, comments, and reviews on various platforms
• Responsible for coordinating and conducting the inspection visits at the hotel
• Coordination and handling of Group & MICE business operation in the hotel (coordination with Hotel Manager, F&B manager etc)
• Maintain and distribute marketing collateral, brochures, and promotional materials
• Conduct market research to identify trends, competitors, and potential opportunities for the hotel
• Administer guest satisfaction surveys and analyse the results to improve services
• Communication of Yield actions to offline partners (i.e Stop sales, Special offers etc) in cooperation with the Revenue Analyst
• Collaborate with other hotel departments, such as front office and events, to ensure a consistent and high-quality guest experience
• Help in monitoring the sales and marketing budget and expenses
• Generate regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) for sales and marketing activities to assess the effectiveness of marketing & sales efforts and make data-driven decisions
• Assist in various special projects related to sales and marketing as assigned by the Commercial Manager

Necessary Requirements:

• Previous work experience for at least 1-2 years in a 5 * or 4 * hotel
• Professional experience on similar role, in Sales, Marketing or Reservations department of a hotel
• BA or Diploma on Tourism Management, Business Administration or equivalent
• Excellent knowledge of English (written and verbal)
• Highly computer literate (Outlook, Word & Excel)
• Good analytical and numeric skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for interacting with team members, customers, and external partners
• Ability to work on various projects simultaneously and work under occasional pressure
• Collaborate effectively with team members in sales, marketing, and other departments
• Attention to detail & data privacy compliance

Desired Requirements:

• Good working knowledge of PMS OPERA
• Knowledge of OTA and TO extranets (eg Booking.com, ExpediaPartnercentral.com, Webhotelier.net etc.)
• Strong grasp of digital ecosystems and online platforms for the purpose of content updating, information addition, and similar tasks
• Problem - solving skills
