1. JOB OBJECTIVE:

Own local marketing strategy, using a combination of exceptional leadership skills, understanding of local insights and the ability to meet the needs of diverse customer and client base. Someone to continue to bring ASICS brand to the next level in Greece while maintaining the highest of standards.

2. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  Description

  • Be the Marketing lead on the ground/in the country/ in the office and provide guidance to the team as appropriate. Be the spokesperson and main point of contact for the Marketing teams, but also for customers, agencies etc. externally.
  • Team leadership and development incl. Digital Marketing, TM, SM and Training&Education
  • Ensure all local activations are on-brand and deliver business results.
  • Lead on the execution of marketing strategy, while managing budgets.
  • Build compelling cross-category marketing strategies and MTP in line with overall ASICS brand strategy
  • Produce annual marketing plans for direct-to-consumer, wholesale initiatives.
  • Build plans that account for local marketing insights, opportunities and challenges.
  • Be the marketing lead on the ground and lead our team appropriately.
  • Work closely with the commercial team in Greece and the EM Marketing Team in Amsterdam to ensure state of the art Marketing executions.

3. COMMUNICATIONS & WORKING RELATIONSHIPS:

    Internal:

  • Head of Sales, GM Greece, all Marketing functions, Merchandising, HR, Head of EM Marketing in AMS   

    External:

  • Digital agencies, PR agencies, Event agencies, runners, athletes, suppliers.

4. JOB REQUIREMENTS:

   Α. Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communication, business or related.

   Β. Minimum Experience:

  • 5-7years of professional experience. Minimum 6 years of experience in Marketing & TM, preferably in the same industry or with FMCG.
  • Must have consumer brand marketing experience.
  • Demonstrate media, digital, PR, trade marketing capabilities.
  • People management +3 years.

   C. Competencies (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities):

  • Strong project management skills.
  • Passion for sport
  • Fluent in Greek and English

Budget Tracking (no over- and underspend)
Push and execute activations which mostly drive preference (Consumer & Customer)
Take ownership in all projects you do and take decisions yourself
Be proactive in bringing new ideas to the team
Create a network inside and outside the organization
Work structured and use our templates to be fully transparent
Meet always the given deadlines for any request
Always think as one team when sharing information or approaching new topics
Frequently screen the market and our competitors
