The job holder is fully accountable for leading and overseeing the R&D processes from market research to product authorization and rollout. He/she ensures that all internal and external stakeholders receive the required scientific services. He/she ensures the accomplishment of the R&D Team objectives by managing and coordinating the Team.

Requirements:

• Scientific research, development, and formulation of new pharmaceutical and OTC products.
• Continuous research on product ingredients and latest scientific developments.
• Communication with product manufacturers and partners (sampling and testing, contract management, cost negotiation and product stability tests).
• Full accountability for the overall Quality Management process of new and existing products.
• Full accountability for the management of the R&D Team ensuring the accomplishment of the R&D objectives by coordinating staff, delegating, planning, and evaluating tasks and activities.
• Coordination and compliance with relevant inspection bodies (ΕΟΦ), representing the company in hearings when required (Greece and abroad)
• Organize and implement the necessary material for the Presentation of New Products to the Sales Department (presentations).
• Coordination and responsibility for handling effectively customer inquiries on product characteristics and effective use from a scientific and health perspective
• Responsible for and ensures the effective preparation and conduct of trainings of the Scientific Department to the company's Sales Representatives, Pharmacists and Doctors.

Experience & Skills:

• Msc degree in Chemistry or Pharmacy
• MBA will be considered a plus
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience in a similar role in the pharmaceutical industry
• Demonstrated ability to successfully interface with all levels of management and suppliers
• Demonstrated skills and competency in project management
• Excellent command in English
• Excellent use of MS Office applications
