What You Will Do
Position is responsible and accountable for the successful development, deployment, and implementation of the Supplier Quality Management (SQM) strategy and associated policies, procedures, programs and initiatives that deliver quality/compliance, cost, and/or operating benefit to the supply chain, regarding Essential Health & Skin Health (EHSH). Actively partners with stakeholders, individuals and teams, and Direct Material (DM) suppliers to implement innovative solutions and continuous improvements with demonstrated and measurable business impact.
Key responsibilities include:
- Own quality lifecycle management for assigned DM suppliers
- Act as interface for quality topics between DM supplier & Kenvue
- Responsible for full lifecycle management activities like supplier selection, site qualification, quality agreements, onboarding, change management, quality events, performance monitoring, supplier review meetings, disengagement
- Ensure regulatory & Kenvue requirements are implemented at suppliers
- Deploy continuous improvement process at suppliers through KPIs, action plans, and CAPA follow-up. Feed into regional & global supplier performance metrics
- Establish partnership with cross-functional and Kenvue manufacturing sites
- Manage assigned supplier portfolio against GMP requirements
- Own audit planning and execution for assigned suppliers
- Engage in deploying Quality & Compliance programs aligned with Global strategy
- Lead cross-functional supplier review governance meetings and supplier performance reviews with manufacturing sites
- Deploy supplier reliability program as applicable
- May require up to 20% domestic & international travel
What We Are Looking For
Required qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Engineering or related field
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant business experience in cosmetic/ chemical/ food/ packaging component/ fiber nonwoven industry
- Fluent English (spoken and written)
- Experience in GMP product manufacturing plant, knowledge of ISO 22716, Quality Control & Assurance, supplier management, and process improvement
- Good communication skills, stakeholder management, ability to convince and influence
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills. Quality culture and global mindset
- Competent in problem-solving, team building, planning, and decision-making
- Strong Business and Financial Acumen
- Effective Team Player, Ownership Mindset, Take lead
