Role Description
We are looking for an ambitious, driven individual to join our Finance team. We currently operating in the healthcare and medical equipment industry in Greece with International exposure. You will own the reporting process and be responsible for the accurate and timely submission to the Chief Financial Officer and the Executive Management of the Group.
Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities
Financial Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare and deliver the Monthly Reporting Package ensuring accuracy and compliance with Group Accounting Policies and International Accounting Standards (IAS).
- Lead the month-end financial closing process, coordinating with Accounting and MIS departments to ensure reconciliation between management reports and accounting systems.
- Perform operational and financial trend analysis to support commercial and business development decisions.
- Provide detailed variance analysis and financial forecasting data, offering insights and interpretations to senior management.
Budgeting & Forecasting
- Develop and manage the annual budget and rolling forecasts in alignment with company guidelines.
- Oversee the regular reporting of financial forecasting data, ensuring clarity in financial planning and business decision-making.
Strategic & Commercial Financial Projects
- Participate in financial projects of commercial and strategic significance.
- Conduct feasibility studies for business and investment plans, supporting top management's strategic initiatives.
- Analyze sales performance metrics and ensure accurate business allocations and amendments where necessary.
Process Optimization & Automation
- Identify key improvement areas in financial processes and drive automation initiatives with technical support.
- Act as a key user for Power BI, overseeing setup, reporting, and financial modeling for the monthly reporting process.
- Manage accounting-related processes, including cost and revenue allocation, discount calculations, and collections.
Stakeholder Engagement & Business Partnering
- Build strong relationships and establish trust with key internal stakeholders, acting as the first point of contact for reporting-related matters.
- Ensure alignment between financial insights and business strategies by collaborating with relevant teams.
Preferred Minimum Qualifications
- BSc/MSc degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant field
- Experience at least 5 years in relevant activity, or 2-3 with similar daily tasks is preferred. Previous experience in healthcare industry and medical equipment/devices is a plus
- Excellent experience in accounting software, ERP systems, statistical packages & advance MS
- Proficient in English language
- Expert Excel and technical analysis skills. Knowledge of Power BI reporting experience and ERP software is pre-requisite.
- Previous experience with Softone ERP will be highly appreciated.
- Working knowledge of accounting principles Greek GAAP and Management reporting.
- Attention to detail and strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret and present financial data effectively.
