The Domes Resorts hotel group, one of the fastest growing hotel groups in the Mediterranean, is hiring a motivated and hands-on F&B Manager for the 5* hotel Domes Aulus Elounda, a Curio collection by Hilton!
We are looking for a motivated, hands-on Food and Beverage Manager to oversee our day-to-day FnB operations.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the smooth operation of all FnB outlets in the resort of his responsibility and contribute in shaping the overall departmental strategy that will drive the hotel’s guest satisfaction standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversees the entire operation of the FnB outlets
- Closely works with the Hotel Manager and the above property management to continually enhance and advance the hotel’s services and operations
- Ensures SOP implementation in FnB departments
- Ensures that the FnB operational staff and managers/supervisors are properly trained according to Marriott standards and the hotel’s code of conduct and are able to carry out the operations of each function of their department offering top tier services to our guests
- Ensures food & beverage quality and has effectively forecasted FnB needs
- Works with FnB staff to ensure proper food presentation and proper food-handling procedures
- Responsible for all the FnB staff appearance, hygiene and attitude to their colleagues
- Arranges and keeps track of maintenance and repair of equipment and other services when needed
- Organizes our monthly inventory records based on the internal inventory procedures
- Excellent knowledge in HACCP & ISO procedures
- Participates in the yearly budget preparation, takes corrective actions when required
- Maintains records and prepares reports on a weekly and monthly basis on operating costs, budget, forecasts
- Maintains budget and employee records
- Handles effectively guests complains
- Participates in staff recruitment
Requirements
- Degree in Hospitality/Tourism. MBA or Master’s Degree in a relevant field will be considered an asset
- Minimum 3 years resort experience as a Food and Beverage Manager at a five-star hotel
- Excellent knowledge of the English language, a second or third language (e.g. French, German, Russian) will be considered a plus
- Very good knowledge of MS Office and PMS OPERA
- Excellent communication skills with a very strong customer-focused approach
- Strong leadership and team building skills
- Hands-on approach, positive attitude and flexibility
- Cost-conscious and able to maximize revenue
- Professional communication skills with an innate teamwork mentality
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of own actions
