Job's purpose

As a Business Performance Planning (BPP) Manager, you will play a pivotal role in delivering timely, accurate, and actionable insights into Alfa Beta's current financial performance and providing robust estimates of future performance. You will drive accurate forecasting and strategic decision-making, enabling the organization to meet its financial objectives. By challenging, supporting and collaborating with senior management, you will enhance business performance and ensure alignment with the company's strategic goals.

What you will focus on
  • Ensure the accurate, transparent and timely delivery of reports and presentations including key messages, insightful narratives, and effective storytelling for AB management Corporate and various forums in order to evaluate actual and projected financial performance. Provide insights that drive decision-making, whilst complying with Group reporting requirements.
  • Coordinate planning cycle timeline (Budget / Forecasts). Safeguard integrity of the output by ensuring efficient operation of the systemic process. Timely and complete delivery of all elements of the planning cycle, such as IFRS 16 and ESG reporting.
  • Coordinate and deliver the yearly EBR cycle with Alfa- Beta management towards Corporate.
  • Identify, propose and drive continuous improvement and reporting simplification/automatization, such as Power BI capabilities to provide the top Management with valuable insights for performance management and decision-making.
  • Propose and align key global financial themes and ensure fully connected processes across Finance division.
  • Oversee and review free cash flow management focusing on leading metrics of Operating working capital etc.Proactive and impactful FCF performance management is necessary reflecting an engaged, forward-looking approach to anticipate issues and opportunities.
  • Identify, map and present key risks, financial insights and recommendations for senior management and board meetings.
  • Deliver on Group's ESG commitments and improve ESG data (reasonable assurance, governance, reporting, tools

What you have
  • MSc degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
  • Professional qualification such as ACCA / CFA will be considered a strong asset.
  • 8-12 years of working experience in financial planning & analysis/ business performance & planning, or a related managerial role, ideally within a Retail, FMCG or large-scale organization.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial and business processes of Operating Companies and Corporate Center and related controls and regulations.
  • Knowledge of report writing (effective narratives / storytelling); presentation skills are integral
  • Fluency in English language, both written and spoken.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office and SAP.
