Navarino Dunes is looking for an Assistant Housekeeping Manager. The selected candidate for the Assistant Housekeeping Manager position at the Villa Residences, Costa Navarino, will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, luxury, and comfort for all villa guests. This role involves supporting the Housekeeping Manager/Operation Manager in overseeing operations, managing staff, and delivering exceptional guest experiences. The mission is to maintain a pristine, welcoming environment that reflects the ethos of Costa Navarino as a world-class luxury destination.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily housekeeping operations to ensure all villas are cleaned and maintained to the highest standards.
- Conduct inspections of villas, public areas, and staff quarters to ensure adherence to hygiene and service standards.
- Coordinate with other departments, such as Engineering and Front Office, Concierge, Club Managers to address maintenance issues and guest requests promptly.
- Train, guide, and mentor housekeeping staff to meet Villa Residences Costa Navarino’s luxury standards.
- Prepare work schedules, assign duties, and monitor staff performance.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to staff.
- Address guest complaints or requests promptly and effectively, ensuring satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the Front Office, Concierge, Club Managers to prepare villas for VIP guests and fulfill special requests.
- Monitor and implement personalized guest services, maintaining a log of preferences.
- Monitor inventory levels for cleaning supplies, linens, and guest amenities.
- Ensure timely procurement of required items while adhering to budget constraints.
- Prepare and submit monthly inventory and expense reports to the Housekeeping Manager/Operation Manager.
- Implement eco-friendly housekeeping practices to align with Costa Navarino’s sustainability initiatives.
- Ensure all housekeeping activities comply with health and safety regulations.
- Train staff on proper handling of chemicals, equipment, and emergency procedures.
Requirements
- 2–5 years of experience in housekeeping operations within a luxury hotel or resort setting.
- A Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Hospitality Management, Hotel Administration, or a related field.
- Proven track record in managing and training housekeeping teams to achieve exceptional results.
- Experience in managing housekeeping operations for villas or high-end residences.
- Knowledge of sustainable housekeeping practices and their effective implementation.
- Certification in housekeeping operations or related training programs is a plus.
- Comprehensive understanding of luxury housekeeping standards and industry best practices.
- Familiarity with eco-friendly and sustainable housekeeping initiatives.
- Strong knowledge of hygiene and safety regulations in the hospitality industry.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills to ensure smooth operations.
