The company offers the opportunity to those who wish to express interest in the position of "Water Treatment Facilities & Vessel Loading Operations Superintendent (Υπεύθυνος Εγκαταστάσεων Επεξεργασίας Νερού και Λειτουργιών Φόρτωσης Πλοίων)" for its facilities in Stratoni. The position will report to the General Manager of Olympias – Mavres Petres / Stratoni and T.M.F. Kokkinolakkas.
General Responsibilities:
· Ensure optimal safety working conditions and compliance with health and safety legislation, including risk assessments and environmental impact evaluations.
· Ensure the implementation of the care and maintenance plan for the Stratoni processing facilities.
· Oversee and optimize water treatment operations and vessel loading terminal activities.
· Manage human resources, raw materials, and operational costs, ensuring that equipment operates according to specifications and maintains appropriate capacities and operational conditions.
· Prepare, monitor, and control departmental budgets, ensuring expenses align with annual plans and compiling operational data for daily, weekly, monthly, and annual reports.
· Supervise contractor activities, including projects and certifications within the area of responsibility.
· Collaborate with consultants and inspectors for ISO certifications and the implementation of the Integrated Sustainability Management System (SIMS), as well as developing emergency response plans for environmental incidents.
· Investigate issues within the facilities and operational processes, develop and implement improvements, and explore new technologies to enhance and automate operations.
· Coordinate with maintenance, health and safety, human resources, and surveying departments for equipment installations, preventive maintenance programs, health and safety training, and performance management systems.
· Design and implement operational procedures, approve capital expenditure requests, and manage procurement requests.
· Participate in technical studies, collect data for improvements, and oversee the construction and maintenance upgrades of the Stratoni facilities.
Required Qualifications:
· A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar position.
· A degree in Mining Engineering or Mineral Resources Engineering.
· Specialization in process optimization, project engineering, process design, equipment calculation, process control, and the preparation of feasibility studies.
· Proficient knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio).
· Familiarity with process simulation software.
· Exceptional communication skills, strong public relations abilities, and collaborative skills.
· Capacity for effective action planning and crisis management.
· Excellent command of English, both spoken and written.
· Experience with ERP system.
