NYNN is a series of inspiring places for inspiring people. We handcraft unique environments and experiences, from members’ clubs to resort hotels, to entertainment gastronomies and more. NYNN is developing a portfolio of diverse concepts in Greece with the intention to travel. NYNN is initiated and bootstrapped by Temes S.A., developer of Costa Navarino.
Our first concept is House of NYNN, a private lifestyle members’ club, located at The Ilisian. Extending over 3 levels and occupying more than 5,000 SQM, at the core of the club lies the notion of a curated hub for pleasure, work and wellness. Members will step into a world of thoughtfully crafted spaces - refined gastronomy and bar options, spacious co-working areas, state-of-the-art fitness and wellness facilities, and the most expansive outdoor pool landscape in central Athens. A dynamic lineup of events and experiences invites members to explore fresh ideas, reflect, and immerse themselves in unique entertainment. We are looking for a dedicated team member with a genuine passion for food and gastronomy, to join us as Demi Chef de Partie. To succeed in this role, you will need to have a strong eye for detail, creativity, high hygiene standards and an understanding of raw materials. Our ideal team member thrives in a fast-paced kitchen and works well under pressure. ABOUT THE ROLE
As Demi Chef de Partie at House of NYNN, you will be responsible for executing the culinary operations in your section. You will work closely with the Sous Chefs and Chef de Parties to ensure the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and taste. Your key responsibilities will include the following:
- Prepare and cook dishes within your assigned section, following standardized recipes and specifications.
- Ensure proper food storage, handling, and hygiene practices are followed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Collaborate with other chefs and kitchen staff to ensure efficient and timely production of dishes.
- Train junior kitchen staff in your section.
- Monitor food inventory and order supplies as needed.
- Adhere to quality and presentation standards set by the Executive Chef.
OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE
- Previous experience as a Demi Chef de Partie or similar role in a luxury dining establishment, preferably in fine dining or a 5* luxury hotel kitchen
- Strong knowledge of and experience in a specific culinary section e.g., fish, meat, grill, larder
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment
- Creative and innovative mindset, with a passion for culinary arts
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team
- Flexible schedule, including the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
