Position Summary
Our new Rooms Division Manager will be the ambassador of our Service Excellence Culture at our fully renovated resort in Corfu, Alkyna Lifestyle Beach Resort, opening its doors for the season 2025. She/he will be responsible for supervising and developing the Rooms Division Team, and providing high quality services and memorable experiences to our guests. The Rooms Division Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Front Office, Housekeeping, and Guest Services departments. This role ensures the highest levels of guest satisfaction, operational efficiency, and team performance while maintaining brand standards and profitability. The position plays a key role in optimizing occupancy, enhancing guest experiences, and driving revenue through effective room management.
Main Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Front Office, Housekeeping, and Guest Services teams to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Develop and implement operational procedures to enhance service quality and guest satisfaction.
- Monitor and optimize room occupancy, revenue generation, and cost control strategies.
- Ensure compliance with brand standards, health and safety regulations, and service protocols.
- Manage staff scheduling, training, and performance evaluations to maintain a high-performance culture.
- Handle guest complaints and feedback professionally, ensuring prompt resolution and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as Sales & Marketing and Food & Beverage, to create a seamless guest experience.
- Analyze operational data and prepare reports on occupancy, revenue, and service performance.
- Oversee budget management and expense control within the Rooms Division.
- Implement sustainability initiatives and ensure responsible resource utilization.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in hotel operations, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- Proven experience in Front Office, Housekeeping, or Guest Services operations.
- Knowledge of property management systems (PMS) and hotel management software.
- Familiarity with industry best practices and hospitality trends.
- Fluency in English. Knowledge of other languages will be an asset.
