If so, ManpowerGroup Greece, on behalf of our client, HERACLES Group, a member of Holcim, Greece’s leading company in the field of building materials, is seeking a Category Buyer
Location: Attica
Working Model: On-site
Reports to: Category Manager FM / Corporate
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary contact for all spend and inquiries within the FM category.
- Review internal requests, ensuring all specifications and requirements are clear to prepare tenders.
- Manage RFPs, bidding processes, and complex procurement activities with category-specific expertise.
- Evaluate bids using Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) approach, lead negotiations, and finalize supplier selection with stakeholders.
- Execute purchasing contracts or obtain approvals for Purchase Orders (POs) in the ERP system.
- Handle technical, commercial, and contractual clarifications with suppliers and coordinate contract preparation with Legal.
- Monitor POs and ensure suppliers meet cost, quality, and delivery requirements.
- Track and report on project and spending targets, supporting overall procurement goals.
- Maintain strong communication and relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Address supply or quality issues, propose alternatives, and identify and escalate risks to ensure continuity.
Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field
- Post graduate studies in Supply Chain or MBA will be considered as an asset
- Minimum of 3-5 years of procurement experience, preferably in facilities management
- Familiarity with facilities-related services and contracts, along with a solid understanding of procurement best practices.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications
- Knowledge and proven usage of SAP
