About the job
The ideal candidate is a highly motivated and skilled professional who is playing a crucial role in driving sales growth by exceptional coordination of addressing customers’ needs from quotation, to order processing and timely deliveries within the shipping industry. Primary responsibility will be to maintain strong customer relationships, identify sales opportunities, and provide exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate is highly reliable, organized and responsive in a timely manner to customers’ requests.
Responsibilities:
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries, providing accurate product information, pricing, and delivery details.
- Prepare and deliver quotations ensuring all terms and conditions are clearly communicated and understood.
- Collaborate with Customer Service and other relevant departments to ensure timely order processing, smooth coordination of shipments including arranging transportation, shipment tracking and resolution of any customer issues or concerns
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records, sales reports, and activity logs using ERP/ CRM system.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients through regular communication.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the PPE product range, including features, benefits, and applications within the shipping industry.
- Ability to provide guidance and support to clients regarding freight forwarding services, including customs clearance, documentation requirements, and logistics coordination.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Shipping/Logistics/Business or relevant field is preferred but not mandatory.
- Fluent in English, excellent verbal and written use is mandatory.
- Proficient use of MS Office.
- Knowledge and experience in S1 ERP or similar will be an asset.
- Team player.
- High level of accuracy, good attention to detail, methodical approach.
- Background in the shipping field will be considered an advantage.
