Our team is looking for a passionate Junior Procurement Officer. The successful candidate will facilitate purchases from outside suppliers to keep a business running while ensuring the effective and in time procurement of goods and services required for the smooth operation of the business.

The key responsibilities will include:

• Investigating the supplier market regarding the company’s needs. Searches for and evaluates suppliers on the company’s requirements, including quality, prices and availability
• Communicating and negotiating effectively with prospective suppliers.
• Gathering procurement needs from each department, ensuring timely placement of necessary orders and monitors the delivery of products while maintaining records of purchases
• Managing the fleet of company vehicles and equipment. Ensuring sending timely and accurate reports to the immediate supervisor
• Ensuring timely and accurate booking and issuance of tickets and accommodation for company personnel and partners.
• Responsible for purchasing and managing expenses of consumables for the branches. Monitors inventory and stock levels of purchased products.
• Collecting data and exporting reports for the immediate supervisor

Job Requirements:

• BSc degree in Business Administration/ Supply Chain Management / Logistics or related field
• Strong analytical, decision making and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent use of English language, spoken and written
• Excellent computer skills in MS Office (Excel, Word, PPT).
• Attention to accuracy and detail is required.
