Hitachi Energy Greece is looking for a SCM Professional for HV/EHV projects in Greece and Cyprus. 

The SCM Professional will conduct all Procurement & Logistic activities for Goods and Services in accordance with Hitachi Energy policy and procedures. He/She will also ensure completion of procurement activities, efficiently and cost-effectively, in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.

Your responsibilities :

• Release Request for Quotation to suppliers.
• Evaluate offers and negotiate with suppliers considering the critical conditions of the client’s contract.
• Ensure sourcing from qualified suppliers and initiate Performance Evaluations
• Create Purchase Orders in SAP after clarifying project requirements with Project Management and Engineering.   
• Procure to Pay Process responsibility for project material from order creation until invoice resolution.
• Support in organization and preparation of shipments to construction sites and customers.
• Communication and frequent visit to external third-party warehouses to control deliveries / receipts
• Communication with transport companies to schedule deliveries/receipts of materials

Your background :

• University Degree in an engineering or natural science discipline or any other qualification that is deemed suitable for the role.
• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in a supply chain function, preferably in project environment
• Good Greek and English language knowledge both written and spoken.
• Excellent knowledge of MS office
• Experience with SAP or other ERP system.
• Strength in commercial/legal aspects of purchasing
• Good communication & proven negotiation skills
• Drive to continuously create results and innovative solutions.
• Skilled communicator who can interface with numerous external and internal parties at different levels in a project environment.
