As part of the Supply Chain Launch Projects department you will be part of a team that strives to be top in class when it comes to deliver product launches on time and in full according to customer needs. Starting with your capability to design reliable and capable supply chains, multiple customers and in multiple worldwide markets in the early project phase and combined with your supply chain expertise and experience in internal and external stakeholder management to drive the project forward in the launch phase you will play a key role in successfully launching our products and make them available to patients around the globe. This is not a remote position, relocation to Germany would be mandatory

A challenging task

• Designing a reliable and capable supply chain for each new product, based on the above criteria and considering the technical and regulatory requirements in the early phase of the projects
• Analyzing the global market for suitable suppliers, preparing and execution RfQs with multiple external suppliers or in-house manufacturing and set up a robust supply chain for our launch products early on in the project
• Taking a lead role in global price and contract negotiation and being a valuable collaboration partner for our licensing department to prepare cost calculations for preparation of customer offers and contracts
• Planning and coordinating launch projects worldwide as well as supporting peers' projects with knowledge exchange and a hands-on mentality
• Responsible for the raw material demand and capacity planning, in coordination with suppliers and customers
• Analysing and challenging production capacity planning where needed to ensure and improve on time output rate
• Structured way of working also during handover of projects to the established product team after coordinating and planning the main launch

A convincing background

• Successfully completed economics degree or a comparable training and gained at least 3-5 years supply chain experience in the pharmaceutical industry
• Knowledge on early project phases in pharmaceuticals, including development and regulatory requirements
• Experience with procurement processes and production requirements, in the pharmaceutical field
• Experience in Supply Chain Quality Processes as well as Operational Excellence
  Curiosity driven mindset
• Team Player aptitude and strong analytical skills, good assertiveness and open-minded communication skills
• Proficient German and English as well as confident use of MS Office, especially Excel
• Interest in meeting people from different backgrounds and appreciate a divers environment
• Resilient character with highest demand to work ethics, who navigates through hectic times with a cool head and contagious humor
