The company offers the opportunity to those who wish to express interest in the position of ‘Inventory Materials Cataloguer’ | ‘Καταγραφέας Υλικών Αποθέματος’, for its premises in Skouries Chalkidiki. The position will be reported to the Inventory Planner/ Controller of the Warehouse department in Skouries.

Main Responsibilities:

·      Establishes and maintains standardized procedures for cataloging and managing material data, ensuring compliance with company policies and best practices.

·      Ensures that material master data is accurate and up-to-date, including information on lead times, safety stock levels, and storage locations.

·      Assesses and reviews new material code requests from production and maintenance to ensure alignment with inventory policies and efficient cataloging.

·      Reviews and updates data fields to reflect any changes in material specifications and vendor details.

·      Works closely with the procurement and warehouse team to validate data for new items, ensuring complete and accurate records in the system.

·      Approves the creation of new material codes for items entering the material management system, adhering to company guidelines.

·      Evaluates and recommends items for classification as stock or non-stock based on usage trends, criticality, and operational needs.

·      Allocates new materials to appropriate storage locations within the warehouse, optimizing the layout for space efficiency and ease of access for picking and replenishment activities.

·      Plans and coordinates the re-allocation of materials within the warehouse to make space for new stock, enhance picking speed, and reduce congestion.

·      Conducts regular audits of material master data to identify and correct discrepancies, ensuring the integrity and reliability of the system data and provides suggestions on material master data regarding material criticality.

Requirements:

·      Bachelor’s degree in, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Business Administration, Engineering or any other related field.

·      Desirable: degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or any other related discipline (preferred).

·      2-3 years in inventory management or warehouse operations.

·      Strong business acumen.

·      Effective stakeholder engagement skills.

·      Proficiency in reporting and data analysis.

·      Excellent planning and organizing abilities.

·      Strong demand and supply analysis skills.

·      Strong attention to detail.

·      Excellent problem-solving skills.

·      Sharp analytical thinking.

·      Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Greek and English.

·      Driving License.
