Senior Accountant

Successful candidate’s key responsibilities:

• Posting and processing journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded in accordance with Greek GAAP (L.4308/2014) and Greek Tax Legislation (L.4172/2013).
• Updating accounts receivables / payables
• Ensuring all entries are depicted accurately on the company’s ERP system
• Have responsibility of the weekly and monthly reports

Qualifications:

• Six (6) to eight (8) years of professional experience in a relevant role
• BSc degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant studies
• Strong knowledge of Greek Tax and Accounting legislation – Greek GAAP
• (experience in IFRS will be considered as an asset)
• Strong technical knowledge on financial reporting matters
• Hands-on experience in EBS ENTERSOFT will be considered as an asset
• Advanced computer skills in MS Office
• Excellent command of English language
