Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Quality Control Technician at Mathios Stone in Dupnitsa Municipality. The Quality Control Technician will be responsible for performing quality checks, utilizing analytical and laboratory skills, ensuring quality assurance, and operating laboratory equipment as part of the quality control process.

Responsibilities:

• Inspect and ensure product compliance based on final specifications - especially regarding colors.
• Oversee the production process and ensure adherence to standards, specifications, and Health and Safety regulations.
• Collaborate with production and design departments to promptly resolve issues related to color deviations.
• Record information related to product quality and color systematically, enabling corrective actions as needed.
• Inspect incoming raw materials and address any deviations.
• Develop and maintain quality control methods and tools.
• Participate in the production process to improve work quality and inform management of any issues.

Required Qualifications:

• Excellent perception of colors to ensure accuracy of shades in final products, according to specifications.
• Degree from the following will be considered an advantage: Technical Educational Institute (TEI) or University in Applied Arts/Structural Works/Civil Engineering/Chemical Engineering/Materials Science or a related field.
• Knowledge of Bulgarian or a similar Slavic language for communication in Bulgarian, and either English/Greek.
• Team management skills.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Attention to detail and strong observational skills.
• Previous experience in an industrial setting is preferred.
• Love for stone and decoration
• Passion for colors and color-combinations, and creativity towards beautiful stone designs
