Responsibilities:

• Optimizes the techno-economic aspects of the mechanical design of Hydraulic Projects, based on feasibility studies conducted
• Supports the preparation of feasibility studies for each new proposed business plan of Hydraulic Projects, by preparing the preliminary studies related to the Mechanical subject of the projects and in particular Rotating Machines and Fluid Mechanics
• Collaborates with other Departments of the Hydraulic Projects Development Branch to define, through studies and plans, the characteristics of the mechanical equipment and related constructions for new Hydraulic Projects
• Researches the technological means of Mechanical support for the production and storage of hydraulic energy
• Monitors the technological developments of Mechanical equipment in matters of construction and operation of Hydraulic Projects for energy production

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree from a University or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Naval Architecture Mechanical Engineering or Production and Management Engineering
• Master’s degree in Hydraulic Energy Systems will be considered an additional qualification
• At least three (3) years of relevant experience in the development, design and study of Hydraulic Energy Projects
• Experience in the preparation of technical hydraulic studies (pressure networks, design of pumping stations and generally hydraulic mechanical installations) will be considered as an additional qualification
• License to practice as an Engineer in the relevant specialty of the degree of study
• Good knowledge of the English language
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) & Internet
• Knowledge of Autocad
• Knowledge of Autodesk Plant 3D toolset or similar software or/and software for the design - study of hydraulic networks under pressure will be considered as an additional qualification
• Availability in case of emergency (upon phone contact)
• Availability for urgent geographical relocations
