Responsibilities:

• Prepares, coordinates, submits, and promotes files to the relevant authorities for the issuance of necessary building and construction permits for Units and Projects of the General Directorate
• Contributes to the cadastral regularization of PPC's property relating to the Electricity Production Stations
• Assists in the preparation of technical specifications and budgets for projects arising from urban planning obligations
• Assists in updating the file of urban planning permits and copies of Urban Planning Licensing Files, related to the company's production activities
• Contributes to the drafting and submission of files for the issuance of production, installation and operation permits for production units
• Contributes to the cadastral procedures for the purchase or expropriation of land necessary for the development of new or the expansion of existing facilities
• Supports and supervises the existing production units for urban planning compliance issues and ensures timely settlement and/or settlement of any outstanding issues

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree from a University or Diploma in Civil Engineering from a Polytechnic School
• Master’s degree relevant to the subject of work will be considered as an additional qualification
• At least three (3) years of relevant experience in urban planning licensing issues, preferably in large industrial projects
• Experience in a consultancy or technical company will be considered an additional qualification
• License to practice the profession of Civil Engineer in the relevant specialty of the degree
• Good knowledge of the English language
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) & Internet
• Knowledge of Autocad and similar programs
• Availability in case of emergency (upon phone contact)
• Availability for emergency geographical relocations
