Responsibilities:

• Conducts civil engineering studies and applied hydraulics for the projects of the department
• Reviews third-party studies regarding applied hydraulics for the projects of the department
• Prepares and reviews studies and budgets for dams and hydroelectric projects related to the company
• Prepares and reviews hydrology and water resource management studies
• Supports the preparation and review of studies on pollution and environmental protection concerning both existing and new projects of the company

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Hydraulics
• Master’s degree in Water Resources Science and Technology will be considered an additional qualification
• A doctoral degree in a field related to Hydraulic Engineering, Hydrology, or Environmental Engineering will be considered an additional qualification
• At least seven (7) years of relevant experience in conducting hydraulic engineering studies
• Experience in conducting civil engineering studies will be considered an additional qualification
• Professional engineering license corresponding to the field of study
• Knowledge of software for the analysis and design of hydraulic projects will be considered an additional qualification
• Good knowledge of the English language
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) & Internet
• Availability in case of emergency (upon phone contact)
• Availability for urgent geographical relocations
