Monitor sales trends

Effective monitoring of sales trends for more accurate sales forecast via Data analysis

Forecasting

• Responsible for Demand planning cycle starting for data maintenance & systems support, to issuing sales forecast and demand plans
• Data maintenance / cleaning and systems support for Forecasting software / Reporting tools and ERP
• Sales data pull, analysis and market insights per product/customer/channel for forecast calculation.
• Statistical calculation for accurate forecast per product/customer using Forecasting software
• Coordinate Sales, Marketing and Operations Departments as well as forecast meetings in order to achieve accurate forecast and work effectively with maximum results.
• Sales Forecast per product/customer.
• Demand Forecast per product
• Proper and on time completion of demand forecast upload to ERP (per product).
• Monitor and take actions to improve Forecast Accuracy KPIs.

Demand Management

• Short term and long-term management of demand per channel vs availability per product.
• Demand planning scenarios.
• Control & monitor customer demand development vs forecasting.
• Daily coordination with Sales, Operations and Shopper/Marketing for optimum service level and physical availability.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5year experience in FMCG Demand Management and Forecasting
• Degree in Engineering and/or Supply chain
• Strong analytical skillset coupled with commercial acumen.
• Being able to make sense out of large data whilst performing sanity-checks with reality and cross-systems checks.
• Excel expertise and ERP KU experience.
• Cross functional coordination skills.
• Sales and Shopper Marketing – proficient understanding of Sales levers (eg promotions, distribution etc).
• Marketing – foundation understanding of Marketing levers.
• S&Op proficient understanding of Supply Chain levers.
• Communication and reporting literate.s
