KNAUF AQUAPANEL ABEE, located in 2nd Industrial Area in Volos, is seeking to hire a Quality Manager with direct report to Plant Manager.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:
- Implementation of internal standards (Quality Control Manual) for raw materials, in-process checks, consumables and final products.
- Responsible for quality assurance.
- Implementation of international standards (EN, ASTM) for qualification of final products.
- Support and manage quality team and ensure safety in the area of responsibility.
- Statistical evaluation of test results.
- Evaluation of suppliers in terms of quality and price for purchase of:
- Laboratory chemicals and consumables.
- New instruments and equipment.
- Responsible for instrumentation calibration, maintenance and service.
- Oversee daily floor operations in the area of responsibility to identify deviations from quality standards.
- Manage field quality issues, initiate, and track root cause analysis.
- Manage quality objectives within established QM system in accordance with ISO 9001:2015.
- Implementation and tracking of corrective actions.
- Responsible for handling claims and non-conformities in relation to quality.
- Monitor and control SDS of raw materials and chemicals.
- Efficient cooperation with the plant management team.

If you fulfil the following requirements – it would be an added advantage:
- Education: University Degree in Chemical / Chemical Engineering or similar sector.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years’ experience to similar position. Strong communication, organization and people management skills.
- Language: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. German language will be appreciated as an additional skill.
