Each property assimilates and is designed to highlight the unique characteristics of its host location within a carefully selected setting rich in Greek history, culture, and stunning landscapes. In order to support our rapid growth we are seeking to hire Quality Assurance Manager.

Our new Quality Assurance Manager will support and secure our Service Excellence Culture at our fully renovated resort in Crete, Rocrita Lifestyle Beach Resort, which is located in the charming area of Mochlos, Crete. Our hotel is a haven for travelers seeking a refined and inspirational stay with their loved ones, and will be opening its doors for the season 2025. Position Summary

The Quality Assurance Manager's responsibilities include inspecting materials, processes and products, ensuring compliance with new and existing quality standards and regulations, implementing quality management actions and ensuring that all company policies and procedures are followed by all employees. Monitors compliance with government regulations regarding environmental protection, food safety, fire safety, and other safety requirements. Conducts training sessions on quality control methods and techniques to ensure that all employees are familiar with best practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensures compliance with current regulations
  • Monitors and reporting on all activities, processes, and procedures
  • Monitors the performance of quality control systems in all departments of the hotel to ensure effectiveness and efficiency
  • Produces reports regarding non-conformance of processes, quality of daily operations, root cause analysis, or quality trends for all the processes carried out in the hotel’s departments
  • Verifies that raw materials and finished food items meet established quality standards
  • Directs testing and inspection activities throughout all departments like kitchen, F&B services, Housekeeping, etc
  • Ensures that all departmental procedures adhere to quality standards
  • Inspects all the areas of the facility like kitchen, service counter, guest service area, store, etc. to ensure compliance of all the set standards
  • Undertakes the facility/internal audit as per set schedule
  • Ensures there is no contamination of food at any level of food handling within the organization
  • Checks the quantitative parameters of food quality assessment as per national and international quality standards
  • Determines data-driven solutions and implementing quality improvement plans
  • Performs regular inspections and reviews to ensure employees adhere to quality and safety policies
  • Assists with the development of company policies, processes, and procedures
  • Provides departments with quality planning and support
  • Conducts or assisting with regulatory and quality training sessions
  • Prepares and maintaining quality management documentation
  • Follows effective waste management and recycling practices at workplace
  • Complying with ISO accreditation requirements
  • Follow any reasonable order from the Division manager/ Director


Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience working with quality systems
  • Degree in a related field
  • Certification of quality control is a strong advantage (ISO 9001, 22000,14001, etc.)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and with business application software, purchasing and resource planning systems
  • Excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills
