Quality Inspector – Quality Assurance Engineer (JOB CODE: QA – 2501)

Job Description:

Prisma Electronics SA, a leader in advanced electronics manufacturing, is seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Quality Inspector to ensure that our products meet the highest standards of quality and compliance. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting components, testing products and monitoring production processes to ensure that all operations comply with our company's quality guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect incoming materials to ensure they meet required specifications.
• Test and inspect finished equipment and components for defects or deviations from standards.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints and specifications to ensure production conforms to industry and company standards.
• Use measuring tools such as calipers, microscopes and screw gauges to check product dimensions and quality.
• Identify, segregate and remove non-conforming products from the production line.
• Work with the production team to review inspection results and resolve quality issues.
• Perform spot checks of production processes to ensure consistent quality across all product batches.
• Accurately document and report all inspection results, non-conformances and quality metrics for continuous improvement.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in manufacturing engineering or related field preferred
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (particularly Excel) for reporting and documentation.
• Excellent attention to detail, with a keen eye on spotting inconsistencies or errors.
• Excellent command of the English language
• Strong problem solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and recommend solutions when problems arise.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills to work seamlessly with the production team and management.
• A positive attitude and the ability to adapt to changing priorities and production requirements.
