The Anthologist shop at Parīlio Hotel Paros, a Member of Design Hotels, is looking to recruit a passionate Boutique Salesperson. 

Anthologist’s store is located in the resort’s lobby and features our entire line of home, decorative arts, jewelry, and fashion accessories, and an international array of independent designers. We are a positive-impact brand inspired by cultural preservation, authentic experiences, artisanal talents and one-of-a-kind places. A 33-suite retreat characterized by Paros’s timeless simplicity, Parīlio is surrounded by pastoral landscapes of amber-hued fields, unending Cycladic light, and, of course, the impossibly blue waters of the Aegean Sea.

Position Summary 

Responsible for the overall management of the Anthologist shop at Parīlio to insure profitability, brand recognition, superior customer service and customer database building and development. You will be working closely with Anthologist’s Creative Director and Operations Director.

SALES 

·       Represents the Anthologist brand inside and outside of the store

·       To understand the particularity of the store environment (location) and to suggest action plan accordingly 

·       Review hotel occupancy and source of business reports to suggest various stock and merchandising changes, as well as promotions

·       Resolve customer problems or complaints by determining optimal solutions 

·       Ensure interior and exterior of store is maintained to Anthologist standards 

·       Analyze store performance and propose actions needed to Retail Manager and Creative Director

·       Assist with local events as planned 

·       Maintain stock management including stock rotation, monitor stock level and identify fast and slow sellers, followed by recommendation of appropriate actions and report this to Retail Manager

·       Ensure store operation according to predefined SOP

·       Ensure store operating policies and procedures comply with hotel policies

·       Work with Paros, Athens and US team for monthly report and analysis: sales, staff performance, competitor sales analysis, etc. 

·       Content (images and stories) for social media

WHO YOU ARE

·       A professional with a cross-cultural, democratic, egalitarian mindset

·       Someone who has worked in retail or art and design or studied similar topics, as well as potentially worked in a hotel

·       A person able to settle differences with minimum noise and can win concessions without damaging relationships

·       Confident, organized, efficient, good attention to detail, result and action oriented with strong entrepreneurial mindset 

·       Strong sense of luxury service and aesthetics

·       A team player with excellent interpersonal skills 

·       A good communicator, able to multitask, to lead and manage projects on own initiative 

·       Autonomous with good analytical skills 

·       Computer savvy (including Word, PPT, Excel and all social platforms)

·       You have your own car or transportation

·       Fluent in English and preferably French. Greek and other languages a plus.
