About the role
There is currently a job opening “Key Account Manager” in the Department of Sales Cyprus. As a Key Account Manager, you will report to the Regional Sales Manager, Cyprus and will be responsible for developing and maintaining trusting relationships with travel agents, corporate and other related commercial agencies. You will also be responsible to negotiate contracts and promote products & services. If you are eager to discover new opportunities and become a strategic partner to our agencies in order to support Sales Department achieve designated sales targets and market share, this role is for you!
What you will do:
- Develop Key accounts to improve and protect AEGEAN´s position in terms of revenue growth and market share
- Establish sales strategy in collaboration with the Sales Manager for key accounts
- Identify and secure new business opportunities and new prospect accounts
- Nurture relationships with assigned accounts
- Ensure that business partners have an up to date knowledge about AEGEAN´s product, services and schedule
- Retain cooperation with indoor sales to improve sales efficiency
- Identify key contacts for each sale account
- Negotiate and close agreements with trade partners using guidelines
- Analyze assigned accounts and collect market’s and competitor’s information
- Represent company at familiarization trips, trade shows and workshops
You fit, if you cover the following requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Tourism will be considered an asset
- Fluency in oral and written Greek and English
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Good Knowledge of any GDS will be considered an asset
And you have competence in:
- Communicating and presenting ideas in an effective manner
- Making customers and their needs a primary focus
- Working effectively both independently and as a member of a team
- Negotiating
- Thinking in an analytical & proactive way
