Thrace Group is a Greek multinational Group of companies that produces and distributes a wide range of polypropylene & polyethylene products including technical textiles and packaging solutions. We operate production facilities in 6 countries, trading companies in 5 countries and we sell to over 80 countries.

Thrace NG, member of Thrace Group, is seeking to fill the position of:

Business Development Executive

Position overview:

The job holder will be based in Xanthi and the role’s main responsibilities will be:

  • To identify new business opportunities in the construction market in Greece, new clients, new partnerships or new products
  • To establish, maintain and develop long-term relationships with new and existing customers
  • To explore product usage and develop the marketplace
  • To provide technical advice to the marketplace in terms of usage and installation
  • To possess a strong understanding of the company’s products, the competition in the industry and positioning
  • To promote the company’s products to prospective clients
  • To enrich the existing information regarding the competitive advantage of TNG portfolio, based on their technical characteristics
  • To collaborate with the production and R&D team to optimize and develop the product portfolio according to the customer needs
  • To prepare business plans regarding the product portfolio

Position’s Requirements:

  • Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
  • Advanced knowledge of the building construction market.
  • Excellent commercial skills.
  • Ability to communicate knowledge and establish clarified arguments.
  • Ability to communicate and negotiate effectively at all levels.
  • Detailed understanding of the key business drivers and the ability to influence those drivers effectively.
  • Self-driven, ability to work under tight timetables.
  • Inspire teamwork and promote collaboration.
  • Fluency in English language.
  • Excellent computer knowledge, especially MS OFFICE software.
  • The willingness to undertake extensive travel.
