ICAP Executive Search on behalf of its client, a leading player in the designing and manufacturing industry, committed to delivering innovative, high-quality products and exceptional service to its customers, is seeking a Export Sales Specialist to enhance their team based in Athens or Thessaloniki.

Export Sales Specialist - Italian Speaking (Ref. 5637/SE/ESS/GR)

Profile:

We are seeking a self-motivated B2B Export Sales Specialist to develop relationships with key accounts, maximize revenue and ensure client retention. As part of the Sales Team, the executive will report directly to the Commercial Director.

Responsibilities:
  • ​​​​​​​Identify and develop new international market opportunities.
  • ​​​​​​​Develop and implement export sales strategies to achieve company sales targets.
  • Build and form new partnerships with potential clients. Understand customer needs and effectively highlight how the systems meet these needs.
  • Provide financial and/or technical information related to projects.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for qualified leads, managing interactions from initial outreach to customer conversion.
  • Analyze sales statistics to identify areas of improvement throughout the sales funnel.
  • Monitor activities, identify risks, and implement strategies to ensure the success of KPIs.
  • Stay updated on industry news and trends and understand how they impact the systems and solutions.

Requirements:
  • Must be fluent in Italian with a professional level of English.
  •  ​​​​​​​Proven experience in international sales and export operations.
  • At least 2 years of sales consulting experience, including lead generation, lead qualification and prospecting via phone and web.
  • Technical background in engineering or a related field is optional, but beneficial.
  • Familiarity with key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Highly analytical, numbers-driven and strategic in building a new sales pipeline.
  • Hardworking, structured and reliable.
  • Positively aggressive in building and scaling sales.
  • Superior presentation, persuasion and verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, organize and prioritize work.
  • High level of negotiation and problem-solving skills.
  • Teamwork mentality and a positive attitude.
  • ​​​​​​​Willingness to travel as required.
