Business Development OAM (m/f/d)

Responsibilities

  • In this position, you will look for opportunities to enhance On Site customer portfolio and to create leads and manage the Clean Energy agenda, while you will be searching for and identifying new business opportunities - including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products and services - or new ways of reaching existing markets
  • Moreover, you will be able to think and work strategically, by seeing the bigger picture and setting aims and objectives in order to develop and improve the business, as well as carrying out necessary planning to implement operational changes
  • In addition, you will build and maintain mutually beneficial relationships with customers, by understanding their business needs and be able to respond effectively with a plan on how to meet them, while you will be required to have a good understanding of the products and services and be able to advise others about them
  • Also, you will be able to network with the market, identify the appropriate contact in an organization, generate leads and cold-call prospective customers in order to meet them face-to-face or over the phone
  • Additionally, you will have to ensure that people are on-board throughout the organization, and understand the need for change and what is required by them, while you will seek ways of improving the way the business operates 
  • Lastly, you will keep abreast of trends and changes in the business world, while you will attend conferences and events when appropriate

Qualifications

  • You will have more than 5 years of commercial experience in industrial sales preferably in the Oil and Gas, Food, Chemistry or Manufacturing sectors with at least 3 as a Sales Manager with P&L responsibility
  • Also, you will hold a BSc in Business Administration or a BSc in Engineering, Chemistry or a related field and an MBA
  • Moreover, you will be fluent English speaker and an experienced user of the Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Furthermore, you will demonstrate very good interpersonal and communication skills, especially when it comes to communicating technical information
  • In addition, you will have to have strong achievement drive and resilience, while you will be able to think strategically, to develop, and implement action plans, as well as to work under pressure, with overflow of information and tight deadlines
  • Lastly, you will be able to negotiate with a variety of partners on the market of all sizes and backgrounds, while you will have the ability to understand key revenue and cost drivers
