Client Relations Manager

We are seeking a dynamic and client-focused Client Relations Manager to lead and manage all aspects of our client interactions, from initial offer negotiations to contract renewals and ongoing client relationship management. The role also encompasses sales responsibilities, including client acquisition and service promotion, with potential involvement in marketing strategies. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring client satisfaction, growing the business, and building long-lasting partnerships with key clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Relations & Account Management

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs are met and fostering a long-term partnership.
  • Manage the entire client lifecycle, including offers, contract negotiations, renewals, and complaint resolution.
  • Proactively identify and resolve client issues or concerns, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and retention.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders within client organizations, ensuring smooth communication and service delivery.
  • Monitor client accounts to identify opportunities for upselling additional services or products based on client needs.

Offers & Contract Negotiations

  • Lead the preparation and presentation of service offers to potential and existing clients, ensuring that proposals are tailored to client needs and aligned with the company’s goals.
  • Negotiate terms and pricing for new contracts, renewals, and amendments with clients, ensuring mutual agreement and adherence to industry standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (finance, operations, legal) to ensure that contracts are clear, compliant, and aligned with operational capacities.

Sales and Marketing Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to grow the client portfolio, working to expand the company’s presence in the pharmaceutical/ pharmacovigilance market.
  • Drive the sales process by conducting prospecting, client meetings, presentations, and negotiations to secure new clients.
  • Develop and maintain a sales pipeline, tracking progress against quarterly and annual sales targets.
  • Provide sales forecasts and reports to senior management, tracking sales performance and adjusting strategies as needed.
  • Build and maintain relationships with potential clients, demonstrating the company’s value proposition and services.
  • Develop and execute targeted marketing initiatives to drive client engagement and lead generation.

Complaint Management

  • Serve as the key point of contact for clients when complaints or issues arise, ensuring prompt and clear communication with the client.
  • Provide detailed client feedback to internal teams responsible for addressing the issue and resolving the root cause.
  • Act as the liaison between the client and internal teams, ensuring that the client is informed and reassured throughout the process.
  • Follow up with the client once the issue is resolved to ensure satisfaction and maintain a positive relationship.

 

Qualifications:

Educational Background:

  • Bachelor's degree/MSc in Life Sciences or Physical/Applied Sciences, Business Administration, or a related field.

Professional Experience:

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in client relations, sales, or account management, preferably within the pharmaceutical, biotech, or pharmacovigilance sectors.
  • Proven experience in contract negotiation and complaint resolution within a regulated industry.
  • Experience in sales pipeline management, business development, and driving revenue growth.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills: Ability to build trust and communicate effectively with clients and internal teams.
  • Negotiation and problem-solving skills: Proven ability to negotiate contracts and resolve conflicts or complaints.
  • Sales acumen: Strong understanding of the sales process, including prospecting, presentations, and deal closure.
  • Organizational skills: Ability to manage multiple client accounts and projects simultaneously, with attention to detail.
  • Team collaboration: Ability to work cross-functionally with marketing, operations, and finance teams to ensure client satisfaction and contract delivery.
