ICAP Executive Search & Selection on behalf of a leading company in Medical innovation and Regenerative Medicine, is looking for a driven professional for the position of the Head of Sales in Dermatology, Aesthetics, and Plastic Surgery, based in Athens.



Head of Sales - Dermatology, Aesthetics, and Plastic Surgery (5797/DAPS/ESS/GR)



The employer is redefining personalized healthcare by delivering integrated solutions for medical innovation and regenerative medicine that address critical issues such as cell and tissue degeneration.

They focus on developing autologous biologics, which leverage the body's own cellular resources to stimulate natural healing and tissue regeneration.

This approach is especially impactful in the fields of dermatology, aesthetics, and plastic surgery, where their pioneering treatments are designed to rejuvenate skin, promote healing, and repair damaged tissue.


Role Profile

Drive strategic and operational sales efforts in Medical Aesthetics, Dermatology, and Plastic Surgery, focusing on biologics, regenerative medicine, and cellular therapies.

This leadership role involves developing sales strategies, mentoring teams, and building relationships with healthcare providers to expand market presence locally.

 

Responsibilities


Sales Strategy & Leadership

  • Develop and execute sales strategies tailored to clinics and private practices.
  • Set sales goals and mentor the sales team on biologic and regenerative products.
  • Assume revenue & P&L oversight, drive revenue growth, manage budgets, and track KPIs.

Market Development

  • Identify new opportunities in non-surgical and surgical settings.
  • Build relationships with dermatologists, plastic surgeons, and aesthetic practitioners.

Product Promotion

  • Educate professionals on the benefits of autologous biologic therapies.
  • Conduct workshops and training to enhance product adoption.

Team & Collaboration

  • Align efforts with marketing, R&D, and regulatory teams.
  • Provide market feedback to support product improvement and innovation.


​​​​​​​Requirements

  • 10+ years of sales experience in the medical devices or pharmaceutical industry, with at least 3 years in senior sales role.
  • Thorough knowledge of the Greek Dermatology, Medical Aesthetics, Plastic Surgery, Dermal wound management market with strong personal accounts.
  • Experience working with HCPs, plastic surgeons, dermatologists, medical aesthetics practitioners and private practitioners, particularly in tissue regeneration or biologic therapy applications, and clinic procurement teams in a clinical sales environment.
  • Prior experience with non-autologous materials (hyaluronic acids, injectable mesotherapies) and other techniques used in the sector is desirable.
  • Proven track record of leading and managing a sales team, achieving sales targets, and growing market share within the healthcare or medical devices field.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence medical professionals and stakeholders.
  • Ability to navigate and understand regulatory environments and compliance requirements for medical devices and biologics.
  • Bachelor’s degree in biology, biomedical engineering, healthcare management, or a related field. Preferred MBA or MSc in healthcare or business.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems, sales analytics tools, and other sales management software.
  • Fluency in Greek and English.
